The heat was well and truly on for Race 3 of The Lake Triathlon Series as a record field of 72 athletes braved 30°C temperatures at Cromhall Quarry. It proved to be the most dramatic round of the summer yet, witnessing a blistering course masterclass from a crop of fast-paced newcomers alongside an inspiring wave of personal bests from returning series regulars.
