Brimscombe went to the top of the Hellenic Premier Division table after a 1-0 win at Bradford Town.
The Lilywhites posted their sixth straight win thanks to Jonty Welch’s winner eight minutes from time.
Brimscombe boss Sam Prior said: “It wasn’t the prettiest game of football to watch, but both sides ran their socks off. We just about edged it on clear-cut chances created and luckily took one of them and held on for a very resilient 3 points.”
