A group of intrepid runners mimicked Boris Johnson after their annual Rudolph Rampage was forced off course due to Covid.

With the official race postponed, the bullish runners donned Boris masks and dressed as slices of cheese and clutched wine glasses in a pointer towards the Government’s alleged partying antics during the pandemic

Runner Jo Stevenson, who helped run the race from Painswick Rugby Club, said: “The official race was cancelled due to the uncertainty of more Covid restrictions, so a group of us decided to run the course.”

With exercise a key to maintaining positive mental health, Jo insists running hasn’t been supported during the pandemic, she added: “The one thing that has not been supported through this pandemic is the need for people to keep fit and healthy.”
