Blythe’s first season at Meadowbank saw him work as joint-manager alongside current director of football Jason Scrivens.

Shortwood’s progress this season has seen Blythe’s side hit by a raft of injuries, with the Nailsworth outfit currently 11th in the league with nine wins from 23 games.

Stroud Times contacted Shortwood United who confirmed the news and will be releasing an official statement tomorrow, Saturday.
