The iconic locomotive once again passed through Stroud on its way to Kemble and back to London.
The Flying Scotsman was due to make the journey on February 19th but the trip was postponed due to the aftermath of Storm Eunice.
The locomotive is approaching its centenary, having been built in 1923, and was the first to officially reach 100 miles per hour back in 1934.
Today the locomotive was pulling steam train The Cotswold Venturer and left Paddington Station in London at 7.15am.
The train travelled through Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds before spending a few hours in Worcester.
The return journey took passengers through Cheltenham and the Stroud Valley before joining the ex-Great Western Main Line on the way back to London.
