Organiser Maria Semple said: “Two Ukrainian girls were particularly moved by Lysenko’s Prayer for Ukraine and came to see us at the end of the concert to express their gratitude for the overwhelming generosity of the British people and the local community. The concert was extremely well received by an appreciative audience and all the proceeds have been given to Tearfund’s Humanitarian Appeal for Ukraine.
