Video: boats pass under the Ocean Railway Bridge once more

Boats are now able to pass under the Ocean Railway Bridge at Stonehouse. The bridge was replaced over Christmas and New Year in a feat of precision engineering by Network Rail.

During the construction of the new bridge a section of canal between the Ocean Swing Bridge and the railway bridge was dammed and drained. Earlier this month the section was filled with water and Reg Gregory, Operations Director of Area 1A on the canal explains what the next stages of work will entail.
