Having begun his career with Championship side Birmingham City, the 24-year-old has appeared for Solihull Moors, Macclesfield Town, and Mansfield Town before making a move to the Dale at the start of last campaign.

“When I heard about the option of moving to Forest Green, I told my agent it was one I wanted to pursue because it’s such a great fit.”

Ian Burchnall, Head Coach, FGR, added: “When I came in I spoke with Rich Hughes about some of the targets and when he said Corey I was really pleased with that one.”

“We played against Rochdale twice with Notts County in the FA Cup and Corey was the stand-out player in both games.”
