AMOGH Bhatkal’s 124 off 104 (18 fours, one six) propelled Stroud to a six-wicket victory away to Tewkesbury in the quarter-finals of the Stuart Canvas Gloucestershire Cup.

Captain Louis Gegg weighed in with 49 as the visitors chased down a target of 234 with five overs to spare.

Earlier, Josh Barnes top-scored with an unbeaten 114 in Tewkesbury’s challenge of 233-4.

Stroud will now be home to Bedminster or Bristol while Bishopston or Charlton Kings will host Hatherley & Reddings.

Cam, meanwhile, will be home to Frenchay on Sunday in the Stuart Canvas Gloucestershire Trophy with Langford entertaining Gloucester AIW Sports.

BRISTOL will play host to WEPL’s finals day on Sunday when a place in the final 32 of the ECB National Club T20 will be at stake.

Painswick and Bishopston meet first at 10.30am with Bristol then taking on Bath at 1.30pm before the play-off at around 4.30pm.

The winners will progress to one of eight area finals which in turn lead to regional playoffs and then the main final.
