This time they had a 51-year-old Bristol RE which was in service in Newcastle. The tour started at Cheltenham, then picked up at Gloucester Transport Hub… on to Tuffley and then to Chalford Sports and Social Club. It then travelled over the hills via Horsley and Kingscote before descending Whiteway Hill into Dursley for the next two pub stops at the New Inn and Old Spot.

From there on to the Old Fox at Coaley before making tracks back toward Gloucester and Cheltenham with a visit, of course, to The Pelican at Gloucester… a rather jolly day out for all and great for my wife Jill and I as we boarded the bus between the two Dursley pubs.
