Forest Green have bolstered their backroom staff with the appointment of new Head of Recruitment, Analysis & Innovation.

Will Daniels, who began his role at the club last month, has previously worked at AFC Wimbledon in a couple of different part-time roles. He joined the Dons as a Consultant Football Analyst in November 2019, before becoming their Recruitment and Analysis Manager 16 months later.

Daniels has a background in football statistics – and he recently completed a MSc in Sporting Directorship.

Working closely with the recruitment team, Daniels will lead the recruitment process, link the club’s data and analysis provision, while ensuring that every department is at the forefront of innovation.

After becoming FGR’s new Head of Recruitment, Analysis & Innovation, Daniels said: “FGR is a club with such a unique and inspiring identity, all working together to create a special environment.

“Dale [Vince], Allan [Steele] and the board have a bold commitment to growing the club and I look forward to becoming a part of the hard work to enable us to achieve that.”
