Forest Green will face Swansea City and Cardiff City at the innocent New Lawn next month.
Rovers entertain Steve Cooper’s Swansea City, who were defeated in the Championship play-off final to Brentford last month. Meanwhile, Mick McCarthy’s Championship outfit Cardiff City are Rovers’ first home fixture for Rob Edwards and Richie Kyle in a game that could feature former Forest Green striker Kieffer Moore.
Rovers’ first fixture will see the squad start at Melksham Town. Trips to Southern League Yate Town, National League side Yeovil Town, and Leamington complete the six-game schedule.
