Pitch inspection ahead of Forest Green’s trip to Bradford

A pitch inspection is set to take place ahead of Forest Green’s trip to Bradford City this evening, Tuesday.

Match referee Simon Mather will be arriving at Valley Parade at 4pm, as a precaution, to inspect the pitch.

A statement on Bradford City’s website said: “The University of Bradford Stadium pitch continues to drain the rain which fell this morning.

“With drier conditions forecast this afternoon, and groundstaff working hard to ensure it is playable, we are confident that this evening’s fixture can go ahead as planned.

“We will endeavour to keep supporters updated on the status of the fixture throughout the course of the day.”
