One lucky person is guaranteed to win a 17th century country house in the Cotswolds worth over £5 million – along with £250,000 in cash – as part of a new prize draw raising funds for Guide Dogs.
The winner of the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, Cotswolds, will get the keys to a quintessential five-bedroom property showcasing period features and a heated outdoor pool – all surrounded by glorious Cotswolds countryside.

The property comes mortgage-free, with all stamp duty and legal fees covered. The winner is also given a whopping £250,000 in cash, to help them settle in, and can decide to either live in the house, rent it out for a supplementary income, or sell it whenever they wish to become a cash multimillionaire.

If the winner decides to keep the property, the £250,000 would enable them to run the house for many years. The house also comes with £180,000 worth of furnishings, ready for the winner to enjoy the day they get the keys.
If the winner decides to rent it out, local estate agents estimate that the property could achieve a long-term rental value of between £13,000 and £18,000 per month.

The Cotswolds stone-built property offers an enticing combination of historical character brimming with many period features, combined with all the comforts of modern day, contemporary luxury living.

Positioned with a desirable south facing aspect, the house is flooded with natural light throughout, enhancing the sense of space and warmth throughout the property. The alluring period features include classic mullion windows, exposed wooden beams and original fireplaces.

The main residence will offer the eventual winner a spacious layout with two reception rooms providing perfect spaces for entertaining friends and family.
The expansive, bespoke kitchen and dining areas have an abundance of high end fixtures and fittings and lead directly onto the large south-facing terrace.

The terrace itself connects to a heated outdoor swimming pool, framed by stone decking complete with its own changing room and shower facilities.

The property also includes a detached, self-contained two-bed cottage guesthouse to host friends and family. A secluded garden to the side of the main house features a Roman well and original well house, adding more historical charm to the grounds.

The house boasts meticulously landscaped gardens, including planted borders, lawns, mature trees and a kitchen garden. A small footbridge leads across a stream to a private wildflower meadow and tranquil lake, offering a peaceful, secluded space to relax in nature.

As well as making its Grand Prize Winner a multimillionaire, the Omaze Million Pound House Draw, Cotswolds, will raise money for Guide Dogs.
There are two million people with sight loss in the UK and this number is set to double by 2050.

Living with sight loss can be incredibly difficult and without the right support, people can be left feeling alone and isolated.
From childhood through to adulthood, Guide Dogs’ expert staff, volunteers and life-changing guide dogs transform the lives of people with vision impairments; providing confidence and ultimately enabling people with sight loss to live the life they choose. Guide Dogs needs funding from partners like Omaze to continue to provide this vital support.

The partnership with Omaze is backed by actor and Guide Dogs Ambassador, David Bradley.
David said: “I’m proud to be supporting this campaign for Guide Dogs and Omaze. With 1 in 5 people expected to experience significant sight loss in their lifetime, the need for these incredible dogs has never been more urgent.
“I had the chance to visit the Guide Dogs National Centre where puppies start their journey, and I saw for myself the dedication and skill that goes into training these amazing dogs. They really do empower people to have the confidence and freedom to live life on their terms.
“Recent experiences have also given me a deeper appreciation for the challenges of sight loss and just how important it is to have the right support.
“By getting involved, you’re helping more people experience the life-changing support of a guide dog.”
James Oakes, President of Omaze, said: “Everyone at Omaze is thrilled to be partnering with Guide Dogs for our latest house draw.
“By offering this desirable property in the Cotswolds, plus £250,000 in cash, Omaze gives people the chance to win a life-changing prize, whilst also raising money for amazing charities.
“The eventual winner is free to decide what they want to do with the house. They can move in and not have to worry about any immediate costs, thanks to the £250,000 settling in money; they can rent it out, for additional income; or they can sell up and cash in to become a multimillionaire – the choice is entirely theirs!”
He added: “Our charity partners get introduced to vast new audiences that they wouldn’t otherwise reach. “We’re tremendously proud that not only do we transform the lives of our winners, but the Omaze Community has also raised over £85 million for good causes across the UK.”
