Traffic chaos continues to hit Nailsworth

Traffic lights installed in Nailsworth this morning, Tuesday is causing lengthy tailbacks.

Traffic is crawling along the Bath Road into Nailsworth and causing chaos in the centre of town.

One woman, who did not wish to be named, told Stroud Times: “This is turning Nailsworth into a living nightmare – temporary traffic lights are continually being put up and people are sick of it.”

This comes after George Street was closed due to a gas leak a fortnight ago.

UPDATE: Traffic lights on Bridge Street have now been removed as of 2pm, Tuesday.
