One woman, who did not wish to be named, told Stroud Times: “This is turning Nailsworth into a living nightmare – temporary traffic lights are continually being put up and people are sick of it.”

This comes after George Street was closed due to a gas leak a fortnight ago.

UPDATE: Traffic lights on Bridge Street have now been removed as of 2pm, Tuesday.
