Stroud Town Council’s reception area will temporally relocate to Stroud Subscription Rooms next month.
The switch is due to the town council’s impending move from their current Thanet House base to the former Locking Hill Surgery.
A spokesperson said:”From Tuesday 5 August, The Subscription Rooms will be the council’s temporary reception base while work at Locking Hill is completed and is expected to take 6–9 months.

“Reception will be closed between Monday 28 July – Monday 4 August – you can still contact the council by phone and email.”
Reception hours at The Sub Rooms will be Tuesday – Thursday, 9:30am – 12:30pm.

The Sub Rooms has an accessible entrance, with level and ramped access to the front of the building. There is an adapted toilet on the ground floor, which also has a baby changing table.
The Sub Rooms reception is also dog friendly.
