Police are appealing for witnesses after a man riding a motorcycle assaulted a dog walker in Wotton-under-Edge.
It was reported that the rider of a silver motorcycle followed a man who was walking his two dogs before making threats and grabbing him around the throat. The rider then drove off in the direction of the town centre.
The suspect is described as a white man in his late 50s or early 60s, of medium build, wearing glasses and a small moustache. He was dressed in silver motorbike leathers and a helmet with black detailing around the visor.
The incident happened on Pitman Place at around 8.30pm on Thursday 17 July.
Investigating officers have carried out a number of enquiries and are now urging anyone who was in the area or who has dashcam or CCTV footage that may be relevant to come forward.
