Residents living near the historic Royal Oak pub in Wotton-under-Edge were invited for a drink and a first look at the renovated hostelry this evening, Thursday.

“It’s been a busy, busy couple of weeks – the bar is now finished, which is pretty lovely. Fires are burning and we’re pretty much ready to open tomorrow. We’re still putting a few bits of art up in the restaurant, but it’s going to have a really lovely, cosy feel,” said Fred.

“We open tomorrow, it’s Halloween and we’ve got a kid’s party from 3-6pm, and then we’ve got a grown-up’s party from 8-11pm. We’re fully booked for our first Sunday roast, but we cannot wait to welcome you all over the weekend.”
