Forest Green Rovers set to serve up solidarity with Gaza Cola partnership

Forest Green Rovers, the world’s greenest football club, has announced plans to introduce Gaza Cola at The New Lawn stadium, in a move that aligns with the club’s commitment to ethical sourcing and global solidarity.

Founded by Palestinian entrepreneur and activist Osama Qashoo, Gaza Cola operates under the principle of “trade not aid”, with 100% of profits dedicated to rebuilding vital healthcare infrastructure in Gaza, including the reconstruction of Al Karama Hospital in northern Gaza.

Forest Green Rovers owner Dale Vince told Stroud Times: “I only just learned of Gaza Cola and we’re looking to source that now — it’s the perfect answer for us, to the problem of how to stock a popular fizzy drink without supporting bad things happening in the world.”

Gaza Cola, which launched its UK rollout earlier this year, offers consumers the opportunity to make ethical choices through everyday purchases. The brand has already sold over 500,000 cans worldwide, with growing demand in the UK, Spain, Australia, South Africa, and Kuwait.

Founder Osama Qashoo said: “With Gaza Cola, we’re offering people not just a drink, but a vehicle for meaningful action — buying with conscience, standing with dignity. This is about building, not begging; trade, not charity; empowerment, not dependency.”

Available online in 6-packs (£12) and 24-packs (£30), Gaza Cola is fast becoming a symbol of ethical trade and consumer-driven change.
