This New Year’s Eve, Stroud Brewery is set to do something a little different, a little daring, and a lot of fun.
Melting Pot: The Global Dancefloor isn’t just another countdown – it’s a celebration of music, culture, and the people who make Stroud so vibrant. The ethos is simple: bring everyone together, celebrate diversity, and dance like the world is watching… and cheering you on.
The night is anchored by a lineup that reads like a world map in motion. Simbora Samba Band bring the heartbeat of Rio to the Brewery, layering explosive percussion with the groove of Brazilian Funk, Samba Reggae from Bahia, and the irresistible rhythms of Ijexa. Watching them play is a lesson in community in itself: every drum, every call-and-response, every syncopated groove is an invitation to join in, to move together, and to feel part of something bigger.

Then there’s Jag P, whose selections traverse the globe: Afrobeat, Cumbia, Bollywood, Balkan grooves, and ethno-techno collide in sets that make cultural borders disappear. Jag’s mixes are all about connection – every Latin, African, or Asian rhythm is curated to get bodies moving, conversations starting, and people smiling. It’s dancefloor diplomacy in action, with a big helping of fun.
DJ LMSKN brings his unique lens to the night, fusing Kuduro, Baile Funk, global bass, UK Funky, and more. A veteran of the underground scene, he’s spent years exploring the edges of world dance music, learning from Latin America, Africa, and the UK club culture. On NYE, his set will be kinetic, infectious, and impossible to resist – think dancefloor chaos in the best way possible.

Stroud Brewery’s Laurence Kapoor will be joining the party behind the decks as Sauce, bringing my Bad Boy Bhangra set to the floor. Bhangra is joy incarnate, born in the harvest fields of Punjab and carried across continents by the Punjabi diaspora. It’s about rhythm in your chest, movement in your shoulders, and a grin that refuses to leave your face. Later in the night, Laurence will blend Bhangra with UK Garage for a high-energy, bass-driven set designed to keep everyone moving until the new year arrives.
One of the most exciting things about this night is its accessibility. Tickets are just £10, which includes a free Stroud Brewery beer. It’s a proper NYE celebration that doesn’t shut anyone out – perfect for students, young professionals, families, or anyone who wants a night of music without breaking the bank. In a world where club nights can cost an arm and a leg, Melting Pot is about shared experience, community, and making memories together.

Stroud Brewery itself adds to the magic. Guests can grab a pint of Dark Skies or Red Wood, warm up with mulled wine or cider, and enjoy the venue’s festive atmosphere. Music, drinks, and friends all converge into a night that’s as much about community as it is about dance. Whether you arrive with a group, fly solo, or meet new friends on the floor, this is a night designed for connection.
Melting Pot is more than a party – it’s a statement. It’s a reminder that music is a universal language, that dance can dissolve divisions, and that the most powerful moments come when people move together in celebration. From Samba to Bhangra, Latin beats to African rhythms, this is a night that captures the global, vibrant, inclusive energy of Stroud -and invites everyone to join in.
So, grab a ticket, grab a friend (or ten), and get ready for a New Year’s Eve that will shake the city, lift your spirits, and leave you grinning from ear to ear. This is Stroud’s global dancefloor. This is Melting Pot. And trust me – you don’t want to miss it.
