A new youth art exhibition in Nailsworth is shining a light on the creativity and passion of local young people, thanks to support from Stroud District Council’s (SDC) Climate and Nature grants.
Three Storeys in Nailsworth is hosting Our Natural World, a vibrant display of artwork created by young people aged 4 to 19 who live or study within 10 miles of the town. The exhibition runs until 22 February and features paintings, clay work, textiles, collage and more.

The project is one of 33 initiatives supported through the latest round of SDC’s Climate and Nature grants. Funding helped cover essential production, marketing and printing costs, enabling Three Storeys to offer a dedicated space for young artists to share their connection to nature.

As part of the brief, participants were invited to explore their personal relationship with the natural environment. The result is a powerful and imaginative collection that highlights the next generation’s love for the outdoors and its importance to them.

SDC is proud to support projects like this that help build awareness of climate resilience, encourage low carbon living and boost nature recovery across the district. By investing in community projects that engage young people, we champion creativity, environmental awareness and local action.
