Striking imagery rounds out club’s competition season

Stroud camera club held its final competition of the season with the highly respected judge Martin Fry giving his excellent critique on the images entered. Martin is an honorary life member of Cheltenham Camera Club and a founding member of the Cheltenham International Salon of Photography.

The Print section was of an excellent standard with Martin’s winning choices: third place was Malcolm Marner’s image, Little Owl on branch with grub; second was Leslie Holmes’ Emperor Penguins; the winner was the excellent So Beautiful by Jeff Wilson.

The Digital section was of an equally high standard with the following being declared Martin’s winners: third place was Trish Bloodworth’s image, Moon Rescue; second was Sam Bowen’s great monochrome image, Taking 5; to cap off an excellent competition for Club Secretary Trish Bloodworth, who took the first prize with her amazing Frank Portrait.
