Stroud District Council has confirmed that a scheduled discussion regarding the future of Stratford Park Lido will no longer take place at this evening’s Full Council meeting.

The meeting, which had been due to take place at Ebley Mill, has been postponed to allow for the completion of additional structural assessments.

A spokesperson for the Council said: “The Council is committed to providing regular fortnightly public progress reports on efforts to open the Lido within budget and a deliverable timeframe.

“We would like to reiterate that the Lido is not on the agenda for tonight’s Full Council meeting as originally planned, to allow for more structural reports to be completed.”

The Council emphasised its ongoing commitment to the project and confirmed that updates will continue to be shared with the public as further information becomes available.
