New wellness studio brings reformer Pilates experience to Five Valleys

Five Valleys has welcomed a brand-new addition to its upper mall with the opening of Rise Reformer Studio, bringing the hugely popular reformer Pilates trend to the centre.

The Rise Reformer team hosted a special ribbon cutting at the studio on Saturday to mark the occasion. Visitors were welcomed into the studio to meet the team and get a taste for Rise Reformer.

Founded by friends and business partners Lindsay Pugh and Pam Wise, Rise Reformer Studio was born from the pair’s own fitness journey. After years of stop-start exercise routines and forgotten gym memberships, they discovered reformer Pilates – and with it a motivating and sustainable way to stay active and feel stronger.

The studio features six specialist spring-loaded Reformer Pilates beds and offers low-impact classes suitable for all abilities, from complete beginners to experienced participants looking to improve strength, flexibility and overall wellbeing. Reformer Pilates is also widely recognised as an effective method for injury rehabilitation and core conditioning.

A team of eight expert instructors will lead group sessions, running Monday through to Saturday, with a range of beginner and all levels classes.

To celebrate the launch, Rise Reformer is offering a discounted rate on their Founding Membership for the first 30 sign-ups. The package is priced at £180 per month, giving members access to an unlimited number of classes for six months (plus £5 joining fee).

Lindsay Pugh, co-owner of Rise Reformer said: “Reformer Pilates is a fantastic way to build strength, improve muscle tone and increase flexibility through a full range of motion. It delivers an effective full-body workout while remaining low impact, making it accessible and beneficial for people of all fitness levels. We’re so excited to be open and bringing Rise Reformer to Five Valleys.”

Mick Grundy, Centre Manager of Five Valleys said: “We are delighted to welcome Lindsay and Pam to the centre with the new Rise Reformer studio which looks amazing.

“Reformer Pilates has really taken off in the UK and we’re confident that Rise Reformer will be a big hit at Five Valleys, and we wish them all the best with the new business.”

Rise Reformer Studio can be found between SJR Carpets and Flooring and Fone Fixers at Five Valleys shopping centre.

Don’t forget, the introductory Founding Membership offer – which includes unlimited classes for the first six months from opening – is available exclusively to the first 30 sign-ups.
