Ed Voss Physio has officially opened the doors to its new clinic, welcoming members of the community into a modern space designed to help people stay active, mobile and independent as they age.
The clinic, based at New Mills on Libbys Drive just off Slad Road, saw Ed and his team hold a successful open day where visitors were able to look around the new clinic, meet the team and learn more about the support available for adults aged 50 and over across Stroud and the surrounding areas.
Founded by physiotherapist Ed Voss, the clinic is helping people improve mobility, reduce discomfort and return to the activities they enjoy most — whether that’s walking, gardening, exercising, travelling or simply keeping up with day-to-day life.

The new clinic reflects the continued growth of the practice and increasing demand for physiotherapy support focused on healthy ageing and long-term movement confidence.
“We wanted to create a welcoming space where people feel comfortable, supported and encouraged,” said Ed. “The response from the community at the opening was fantastic. It was great to meet so many people and hear how important staying active and independent is to them.”
Alongside one-to-one physiotherapy appointments, Ed Voss Physio also runs educational workshops and community events covering topics including back pain, knee health, balance, mobility and healthy ageing. These sessions have become increasingly popular with local residents looking for practical advice and simple ways to keep moving well as they age.
The new clinic gives the team more space to continue offering personalised support in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Many visitors at the opening commented on the welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful design of the new space, with positive feedback from both existing clients and those discovering the clinic for the first time.
Ed added: “A lot of people think aches, stiffness or reduced mobility are just part of getting older, but often there’s a lot that can be done to help. We’re passionate about helping people feel more confident in their movement and continue doing the things they love.”
