Launched in 2025, Bike Cotswold 2026 sits alongside the long-established cycling events Bike Bath and Bike Oxford which have attracted thousands of cyclists over the years,

Organisers Iconic Cycling Events, based in Bath, are delighted to announce that Stroud-based Invivo – The Human Microbiome Company has taken the title sponsorship of the event as well as supporting Iconic Cycling Events other projects in Bath, Oxford, Canterbury and Chester. A science-led, B Corp-certified healthcare brand, developing supplements for gut, immune, and overall health. Restoring human ecology through science, education, and sustainability.

Casey Joy of Invivo Healthcare said: “Invivo is proud to be an official sponsor of Iconic Cycling. We share a passion for health, performance, and what it takes to ride well – and we’re here to support riders every step of the way. Using clinically informed nutrition and supplement expertise, we help riders perform at their best before, during, and after every event, with evidence-based microbiome support that promotes balance and recovery.”

Also supporting the event is the community networking enterprise, the Cotswold Collective. Through the Cotswold Collective app, Members unlock exclusive perks and discounts at over 400 cafés, pubs, restaurants, shops and experiences.

Co-founder Jacqueline Randall said: “Cotswold Collective is delighted to support Bike Cotswold 2026, a brilliant event that brings together community and showcases the very best of the Cotswolds. At Cotswold Collective, we bring together local businesses, residents, visitors, employers and charities, making it easier for people to support what’s on their doorstep. Events like this are a powerful way to connect people to their local area, encourage active lifestyles and shine a light on the businesses that make the region so special.”

Biddulph Wealth Management has also committed to supporting the event. In 2016, owner and founder Olly Biddulph was studying Sports Performance at The University of Bath while simultaneously training for the Great Britain Bobsleigh Team. After representing GBR at the Youth Olympics and World Championships, he received a Santander Sports Scholarship to work in a local business and spent 2 summers working at Iconic Cycling Events on their Bike Oxford and Bike Bath events.

It’s a full-circle moment as Olly explains: “Roll the clock forward 10 years and you might say I’ve swapped the lycra suit for the business suit and I’m back again, as I’m keen to help Richard and the Iconic team raise the profile of Bike Cotswold which brings cyclists of all abilities together.  The event showcases the wonderful Cotswold scenery, promotes active lifestyles and gives businesses like mine the chance to raise our profile”

Other sponsors include: Brakspear, and Velogik and the Stroud Times has confirmed its role as a media partner.

Bike Cotswold is  taking place on Sunday 30th August, Bike Cotswold includes three fully supported and signed routes. Starting and finishing at Westonbirt School the rides take in glorious Cotswold scenery and pretty honey stone villages.

“Sportives are not a race”, said Seb Snow, Bike Cotswold Ambassador, “They’re a day out. You ride for the love of it, maybe to beat your best, but mostly to just enjoy cruising along quiet country roads together, with a smile on your face. Whether you’re brand new to cycling or a seasoned pro, it’s a fun event with a great community spirit. The ample snacks at the two feed stations certainly help, too.”

If you’d like to take part and ride for charity, email info@iconiccyclingevents.co.uk and they can help you get a charity place. Alternatively head to the Bike Cotswold website to find out more about the event.
