Nailsworth Town FC has appointed Lee Daniels as its new manager ahead of the new Stroud League Division Three season.
Lee brings a wealth of experience from across the Stroud League, having managed Chalford, Randwick Firsts, Leonard Stanley Firsts, Taverners and Brimscombe & Thrupp Reserves. He has built a strong reputation for securing promotions and creating successful teams from scratch.
With a passion for the game and a keen eye for tactics and player development, Lee is excited about the challenge ahead.
“Every player is different and each has his own skills. It is my job to bring the best out of each player and help him realise he is wanted and part of the whole team and plan,” said Lee.
“It is exciting to see how I can get the best from players to fit the role. The season ahead is exciting indeed!”
Nailsworth Town expects a tough campaign in Stroud League Division Three, but new players are already signing up, highlighting the strength of Lee’s reputation.
The season gets under way away at Uley on 5 September, with the first home game against Charfield Reserves on 12 September, kicking off at 2.30pm at KGV.
With the KGV pitch currently looking more like a Saharan landscape than a Wembley surface, some fixtures could be moved while work continues to get the pitch ready.
New players are always welcome. Nailsworth Town is free to join, with no signing-on fees and plenty of benefits for players.
Anyone interested in joining the club should contact Lee Daniels at leedaniels463@btinternet.com.
The club also thanks its new team sponsor, The Britannia Inn, for its support and the new kit.
