Marling School has announced another exceptional year of GCSE successes. With 43 per cent of grades awarded at the very highest levels (Grades 9-8) and a third of results at grades 9-7, and 88 per cent at 9-6, the results reflect the dedication and hard work of the students, the support of parents and families, and the high standards of teaching and pastoral care.

It seems to have been the year of twins at Marling – twin brothers Alex and Theo achieved an extraordinary clean sweep of Grade 9s across all their subjects and will continue their education at Marling Sixth Form next year. Another set of twins, Ethan and Noah, also achieved an outstanding set of results, with an impressive collection of Grades 9, 8 and 7.

Oliver said: “I’m so pleased with my results. I’d like to say a big thank you to all of my teachers.” Both students are looking forward to continuing their education together in the Sixth Form.

Jack Clow, who achieved two Grade 9s, six Grade 8s and two Grade 7s, said: “I’ve loved my time at Marling so far and I definitely couldn’t have achieved these results without my teachers. They’ve always been so supportive and encouraging.”

Alongside this fantastic set of results, you’ve grown into a really great group of young men, and I look forward to seeing the majority of you continue your A Levels with us in Marling Sixth Form.”

Peter Knight, Principal said: “Today is a day of celebration at Marling School. Our students have achieved an excellent set of GCSE results, reflecting their hard work, perseverance and ambition.
