Tricorn House: Could asylum seekers be next?

With the recent pause in the lettings of Tricorn House, the obvious question is: could the flats now be handed over to house asylum seekers?

There have been assurances in the past that this would not happen, but with the building once again seemingly in limbo, I think local residents are entitled to know exactly what the current situation is and whether the Government or Home Office has made any new approach regarding its use.

After all the controversy surrounding Tricorn House over the years, surely the community deserves some clarity about what is planned for the building.

I would be interested to hear what the council, the owners and our MP have to say.
