A teenager has been arrested following a stabbing in a Stroud park on Saturday evening, with police appealing for witnesses.
Emergency services were called to Park Gardens on Slad Road at around 7.25pm following reports that one 18-year-old male had stabbed a teenage boy.
The victim, a 15-year-old boy, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital for treatment to injuries which are not believed to be serious.
Officers carried out searches in the area and an 18-year-old male was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning grievous bodily harm in connection with the incident.
He remains in police custody.
Police said those involved are known to each other and the incident appears to have been isolated.
Investigating officers are asking anyone who witnessed what happened or has dashcam or CCTV footage to make contact.
