Members of the senior management team of Longfield Community Hospice are showing their commitment to the patients, families and carers of Longfield by taking part in their first-ever Firewalk at the hospice in Minchinhampton,  on Friday, October 1 at 6pm.

Head of Fundraising and Marketing, Rachel Jones, said: “I asked fellow senior managers if they would be prepared to walk over hot coals for the hospice and the answer was a resounding yes!”

She continued “We are all committed to raising as much money as possible for the hospice, especially at a time when fundraising income continues to be compromised, due to Covid. None of us have done a firewalk before so we’re a little apprehensive, but we’re determined to take on the challenge.”

They will be joining over twenty other brave soles, who have signed up to do the firewalk, which is to raise vital funds to continue the free care and support offered by the hospice across Gloucestershire.
