Crowds gathered outside Brimscombe & Thrupp Football Club this morning to pay their respects to John and Joyce Mutton.

Players past and present, friends and relatives clapped as the funeral procession passed the Meadow stadium en route to Westerleigh Crematorium.

John and Joyce sadly died of Covid within 19 hours of each other last month.

John, the former Brimscombe & Thrupp football secretary, served the Lilywhites in a number of roles, including press officer, club secretary, trustee, and vice president during more than 30 years of service.
