Harlie Price plundered a hat-trick as Brimscombe snatched a last-gasp 4-3 Hellenic Premier Division victory at Chipping Sodbury.
The Lilywhites came from 3-1 down for Price to grab an injury-time winner.
Earlier, Sodbury nosed ahead on seven minutes, but Jack Bartman netted parity. However, Brimscombe found themselves 3-1 down at the break. The fightback started when Price nodded in from an Ollie Pitt cross.
Price bagged his second with a sweet finish from the edge of the box to make it 3-3 and then snatched a 91st-minute.
Boss Sam Prior lauded his side’s resilience, he beamed: “For this side to recover from 3-1 down with everything going on at the moment, is and could be our best result of the season. We’ve got so much to improve on and we know it, yet we still kept believing and got our rewards in the end.”
And captain Pitt echoed his manager’s thoughts, he added: “You don’t get many days like this during your career, 3-1 down at half-time and away from home, two subs sat on the bench, one being the gaffer, so to come out in the second-half like we did to turn the game around 4-3 in our favour, in the 93rd minute, makes this club like no other.”
