A veterinary practice in Stroud threw open its doors to the public on Sunday to let people have a look behind the scenes.
Clockhouse Vets in Wallbridge held their family-friendly open day and charity event, which featured tours of the veterinary hospital, as well as stalls, a raffle, interactive dog activities and face painting.
“We’re holding this event to show people around the hospital and to get to meet the team, and show people how we look after their animals here in Stroud” said Kelly Earl, Reception Manager and Accounts Manager.
“We’ve also got some really fun things for children – lucky dips, face painting and adopt a teddy.”
Animal charities Teckels Animal Sanctuary and Wild Hogs Hedgehog Rescue, based in Frampton on Severn had stalls, and profits from the event were divided between them. Clockhouse Vets also donated their Community Grant of £1,000 to Teckels.
