A special brew for Stroud

A taste of Taiwan has arrived at the Indoor Market in Five Valleys.

From this week, The Sweet Peach will be serving bubble teas in a range of over 15 flavours with ten different toppings and is the first of its kind to open in Stroud.

Offering foodies and shoppers something completely unique, the bubble teas provide a combination of a drink and dessert.

Business owner Zia Nixon felt it was precisely the ‘gap in the market’ and what Stroud needed saying: “I wanted to bring my start up business to Five Valleys as I felt it complemented the businesses already here adding to the selection of food and drink available from around the world.”

Bubble tea is a drink consisting of flavoured tea accompanied by chewy tapioca balls and are vegan friendly to appeal to all customers.

The Sweet Peach offers bubble teas to go as well as to enjoy inside the store, alongside popular Asian snacks such as Mochi, pineapple cake and Pokey.

Andrew Malley who is the Retail Property Director for Dransfield Properties Ltd, the developers refurbishing the centre, said: “It’s great to see The Sweet Peach join the centre’s indoor market, we’re confident that the bubble teas will be extremely popular here in Stroud and wish Zia every success.

“The market is almost fully let now with only one unit left available which we feel would suit a fruit and veg operator perfectly rounding off the full foodie offer.”
