A business owner’s innovative approach to her craft, alongside guidance from her accountant come business mentor, has resulted in her outgrowing her Cheltenham-based tattoo studio in just a few years.
Tanya Buxton of Paradise Tattoo Studio provides cosmetic and medical tattoo services and it’s clear to see she gets immense joy seeing the positive impact these have on her clients and their wellbeing. It’s also obvious how much she values having Shaun Pegler, partner at Randall & Payne accountants, to help her with the numbers as well as the direction of her business.
Tanya also does medical tattoos for mastectomy patients and has started a charity, The Mastectomy Tattooing Alliance.
It’s unusual to be given ‘homework’ by your accountant, but Tanya acknowledges how beneficial it has been having Shaun on hand to advise her and help to keep her on track when it comes to her longer-term goal of moving to a bigger studio.
