Drawing on inspiration from the Cornish coastline, artist Alan Mills will showcase his stunning array of paintings at the Stroud Brewery later next month.
Alan who used to live near the brewery in Brimscombe, but now resides in Boscastle, will be displaying his art from Friday, December 2 through to Sunday, December 4th.
“The exhibition is called Edge and is contemporary art, capturing the north Cornish coast, and exploring the perimeter of land, ocean and sky. Where these three elements collide, our coastline has evolved and continues to do so daily, but now sadly with another element to contend with, namely pollution.
“My painting uses mixed media, acrylic, charcoal, ink, and pastel, but I also use standalone oils, with the painted surface being paper, canvas, or board.”
