As the last week of Christmas shopping approaches, Stroud is bracing itself for a shopping frenzy.

Stroud is well known for the fabulous array of independent shops and markets and is the perfect place to find those unique presents.

This Friday, December 17th, there will be markets every day until Thursday the 23rd. Starting with the Shambles market, outdoor and indoor on Friday. Saturday brings the year’s biggest Farmers’ Market to town, and with the Shambles also on, there will be more than 100 market traders to peruse.

For those who prefer a quieter day for Christmas shopping, the annual Christmas markets in the Cornhill Market Square start on Sunday, December 19th at 10am and most shops in town will be open too. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday the Christmas markets will continue with an eclectic range of Christmas present ideas from a wide range of makers, artists and food producers.

Finally, on Thursday, December 23rd the last Farmers’ Market of the year will take place.
