Forest Green spent £79,372 in agent fees over the last year, according to new figures.
Forest Green were the second-highest spenders in League Two on representatives and intermediaries between February 1, 2020, and 2021. However, the figure is in stark contrast to the £175,000 they spent in 2016/17.
Boss Mark Cooper insisted some of the figures listed were wide of the mark, he said: “All I’ll say is that there will be clubs who disclose what they’re paying and an awful lot of clubs that don’t.”
Salford, whose outlay of £137,884, dwarfed the other clubs. In total, League Two teams spent £1,069, 115.
