Apology issued over roadworks

As the working week begins, Gloucestershire County Council has issued an apology for the inconvenience caused by road closures.

A raft of temporary closures have been announced for essential works, including manhole repairs and resurfacing.

A spokesperson said: “The council apologises for any inconvenience caused during these necessary improvements.”

West End Road in Minchinhampton will close from 8pm on Monday, January 20 until 6am the next day for manhole repairs. Meanwhile, Oldends Lane, Stonehouse, will have similar work from 11pm on Monday, January 20 until 6am on January 21.

Elsewhere, Cirencester Road, Minchinhampton, will close for resurfacing between 9.30am and 3pm on Monday, January 20 and 21.
