Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision in Tewkesbury earlier this month following the death of a woman from the town.

The collision, involving a woman and a black Ford Kuga Zetec, took place on a pedestrian crossing outside Spring Gardens car park on Oldbury Road at around 2.25pm on Sunday 15 December.

The woman, aged in her 50s, was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital where she was treated for her injuries, but she sadly died eight days later.

No-one has been arrested in connection with the incident at this time.

Officers investigating the collision are continuing their enquiries and have reviewed CCTV footage from around the time of the incident.

They are now asking anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has dashcam footage and has not yet spoken to police, to come forward.

Information can be submitted online by completing the following form and quoting incident 183 of 15 December: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/tua/tell-us-about/cor/tell-us-about-existing-case-report/

You can also call police on 101 quoting the same incident number.
