Police investigating a knifepoint robbery which took place in Stroud on Christmas Eve have arrested a man as part of their enquiries.
An 18-year-old man from Gloucester was identified following a number of enquiries and arrested on suspicion of robbery last week. He was later released on police bail while enquiries continue.
The incident took place on Cainscross Road in Stroud at around 1.30am on Sunday 24 December.
A man approached the victim and grabbed him, then threatened him with a knife and demanded the victim hand over his personal property.
The offender stole the victim’s mobile phone, wallet and keys.
The victim, who is aged in his 20s, was not injured but shaken by the ordeal.
Investigating officers are not appealing for any further information at this time.
