A good vibe is running through the New Lawn corridors, according to Forest Green vice-chairman Asif Rehmanwala.
The trusted CEO of Dale Vince’s Ecotricity and Green Britain Group, Rehmanwala was part of a three-person selection panel who appointed Robbie Savage as Rovers’ new manager last week.
Speaking to Stroud Times, Rehmanwala said: “Robbie brings an inclusive, adaptive, and positive leadership style that fits well with motivating and developing players and staff. His balanced approach to utilising experience and youth/academy, combined with utilisation of data/analytics, promises a fresh perspective.
“In football, like all sport, making progress is key to acheiving success. With Robbie’s approach and the experience our new Director of Football Mark Bowen brings, we are confident in our journey towards improvement.
