Sarah Steele is a Stroud-based author who originally trained as a classical pianist and violinist before entering the world of publishing.

She was for many years a freelance editor and can now be found walking the Stroud hills with her dog or making music with friends when not writing.

Sarah’s debut novel The Missing Pieces of Nancy Moon was a 2020 USA Today bestseller and will be published in paperback next month. Through a discovered box of 1962 dress patterns, it tells the story of two women’s journeys across the glamorous hotspots of Europe, decades apart, leading the reader to discover what happened to the mysterious Nancy Moon.
