Award-winning author Cressida Cowell visits Nailsworth Primary pupils

Nailsworth C of E Primary School welcomed award-winning author Cressida Cowell as part of the Stroud Literature Festival.

Cressida, a former Children’s Laureate and author of the hugely popular How to Train Your Dragon series — later adapted into films — spoke to pupils during a special event hosted by the school.

Children from Randwick Primary School also attended the visit, which proved to be a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Mrs Kat Wood, Head of School, said: “It was a fantastic experience for all the children. We were all a little star struck.”
