Beaudesert Park become national champions

Beaudesert Park School has become national champions after topping the tables at the 2022 IAPS Clay Pigeon Shooting Championship this year.

The school, based near Minchinhampton in Gloucestershire, took first place in the U13 division and the U12 division and scooped up second place in the U11 category.

The tournament took place at West London Shooting School with 18 prep schools from across the country competing.

As well as taking top spots in the team competitions, Year 7 pupils Rex and Inigo tied for second place in the U12 individual event, with Rex pipping Inigo on countback. Monty in Year 6 also took second place in the U11 competition.

Headmaster Chris Searson said: “We are thrilled to hear of the success of our clay pigeon shooting teams in the IAPS tournament. The team came back to school buzzing after such a successful event. We cannot wait to see their future successes in the field.”
