Earlier, third in the table Dursley opened the scoring from the penalty spot through Aaron Nash and Stevenson made it 2-0 at the break.

Town were rampant after the interval – scoring four, including a strike from player-manager Karl Nash and Ben Dolbear. Stevenson grabbed his second and calmly completed his hat-trick with a penalty.

A delighted Karl Nash said: “Giving the conditions, the boys did very well.

“Ryan (Stevenson) scored a brilliant hat-trick and led the line really well.

“We scored four decent goals in the second-half and defended really well for 90 minutes.

“It was full control from start to finish and sets us up in good stead for the big clash next weekend at Chalford.”
