Acclaimed railway photographer Jack Boskett captured BR Black 5 Number 44871 running north through Stonehouse Bristol Road on Saturday, with a Railway Touring Company excursion ‘The Bath and Gloucester Steam Express’.

Black 5s were once a common sight in Gloucestershire, on the Midland route from Bristol-Birmingham back in the days of steam locomotives.
