Bone appétit: new canine menu at Five Valleys receives the lick of approval

Foodie traders have launched a new menu catering for four-legged friends accompanying well-behaved adults to Five Valleys Shopping Centre in Stroud.

The centre is fully dog friendly and a popular favourite amongst dog owners, but now there’s even a dedicated menu offering a range of tasty treats to please the doggy community.

Dogs can expect to find Puppaccinos available from The Warren, dried liver snacks from House of Piri and chicken treats from La Cantina. The newly launched menu has already had the lip-smacking seal of approval from several furry friends who are regular visitors to the centre.

Centre Manager for Five Valleys, Jessica Derham, said: “We have noticed an increase in customers visiting the centre with their dogs especially since the noticeable rise in staycationers visiting Stroud.

“Always wanting to cater for everyone and be as inclusive as possible, our traders and retailers quickly got to work to come up with some exciting ideas on how to cater for these furry visitors.”

Many other retailers offer pet treats and water bowls with Victoria R going one step further to provide locally sourced cheddar cheese flavoured Dogrritos when pups come to shop for their Mucky Pup Soap and Pups Pawtisserie Treats.

Sandersons Boutique Store stocks a range of Pet Luxury Apparel at their ‘Betty’s Boutique’ as well as Home Bargains and Wilko stocking a range of pet essentials.

Jessica added: “We’re a dog-friendly centre so it absolutely makes sense that we cater for these important visitors, as we do the rest of the family.

“With many of our eateries also offering a kids menu we’re certain that there’s something for everyone when visiting Five Valleys.”

The centre has recently launched a Sunday Funday campaign offering parking for just £1 all day and a programme of entertainment in the form of DJs, cookery demonstrations and live performers when shopping at the centre every Sunday.

This joins the late-night Fridays which have been running for just over a year at the centre.
