Cam Bulldogs have appointed Brad Price as their new first team manager.

Price, who enjoyed a successful spell at Dursley Town including guiding the U18s to a league title and Champions of Champions victory, returns to his boyhood club where he played much of his own football.

“There’s huge potential here, especially with a new clubhouse on the way,” said Price. “It’s been brilliant to see some of the younger lads sticking with me, a few old faces returning, and some top-quality new signings coming in. The squad is looking really exciting.”

The Bulldogs got off to a flying start in their league campaign with a 3–0 win over Sherston Town, thanks to goals from Jack Bartman, Ryan Stevenson and Alfie Poskett, with Pete Holder named Man of the Match.

Price is clear on his long-term ambition: “The aim is to get Cam back playing Northern Senior football, which is where the club was when I wore the shirt. That’s the level we should be aiming for.”

The Bulldogs’ next fixture is at home against Tuffley Rovers 3rds this Saturday (2.30pm kick-off, Jubilee Playing Fields). Supporters are encouraged to come down and get behind the team.
